The outstanding protection from dirt and debris is provided by the continuous liner running from the shift lever to the derailleur. This system is paired with Elite Polished Ultra-Slick cable and a Slick-Lube liner to minimize friction, with a single cable suitable for either the front or rear derailleur.

Additionally, the Lightweight XEX shift housing is nearly 30% lighter than traditional shift housing, offering a more efficient and responsive ride. However, it's important to note that the 5.0mm shift housing and 1.9mm inner liner may not be compatible with all frames and components, so users should check for compatibility before installation.
